Every Maverick X3 uses a 4/156 bolt pattern — four lugs arranged on a 156 mm circle. It’s the standard modern Can-Am UTV pattern, so any wheel marked 4/156 or 4x156 matches. This is the first spec to check and the easiest to get right; a wrong bolt pattern simply won’t bolt on.
2. Hub / center bore
The center bore is the machined hole in the middle of the wheel that locates on the hub. Get a wheel with a bore that’s too small and it won’t seat; too large and the wheel isn’t hub-centric, which puts all the centering load on the lug studs. A wider stance looks aggressive and improves side-hill stability — but every millimeter you push the wheel outboard adds leverage on the wheel bearings, ball joints, and axles, and moves the tire closer to the fender. The smart move is the least aggressive offset that gives you the clearance and stance you actually want. 4. Diameter and width

- Stock (no lift): Many X3 trims ship on 28- to 30-inch tires and clear a modestly larger tire without drama.

Wheel spacers widen your track to add stability or clear big brakes, aggressive tires, or long-travel suspension. They work, but they push load outboard on the hubs and bearings exactly like an aggressive offset does.
